By accomplishing our aims, we will be responsible for a significant 8% of Norway's carbon reduction commitments.

SirkTRE is dedicated to transforming waste wood into a reusable resource, effectively extending the lifespan of timber and serving as a valuable raw material in the timber industry. We have set ambitious targets—to repurpose 250,000 m3 (100,000 tons) of wood waste by 2024, and to scale up to 1 million m3 (0.5 million tons) by 2030. These efforts are projected to reduce CO2 emissions by 0.5 million tons in 2024 and by 3 million tons by 2030.

 

SirkTRE is not only committed to achieving these objectives but also aligns its strategy with larger global environmental goals. We proudly contribute towards the realization of the EU Taxonomy's environmental goals and maintain unwavering adherence to several UN Sustainable Development Goals—specifically 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 17.
